Henry Pepper

I was drawn to financial planning because I’m fascinated by how money decisions affect people’s lifestyle choices, while also giving me the opportunity to develop a long-term life skill for myself. Porta’s focus on life planning rather than just investments particularly appealed to me, as did the opportunity to develop my financial skills and advice over time and eventually offer that expertise to others.

As an Associate Administrator, I currently support both the advisers and operations team, chasing providers and clients for the important information needed before advice can be given, as well as managing projects. I’m enjoying learning about the level of detail that goes into every decision and would particularly like to develop my knowledge of the investment side of the business.

In the future, I want to become an adviser who people trust and feel comfortable trusting with their money — and who they’re happy to refer to their friends and family. I bring communication, confidence, accountability and perseverance to the team, and people say I’m good at taking charge, networking and creating connections. I’m also very motivated.

I joined Porta in September 2026 after studying Psychology, Business and Sociology at A-Level.

Outside work, I enjoy keeping fit at the gym and running, cooking, and going to festivals with friends.
