George McCrossan, Managing Partner
I believe financial planning should be about possibilities, not restrictions – it should give confidence, not confusion. Every client deserves to understand exactly what they’re paying for, and to feel certain that the plan we create together is one they’ll actually follow.
I’ve been practising for ten years and having always worked in financial advice, I understand the pace and pressure of City life – and the emotional side of running a business. That mix of experience helps me relate to the people I work with: City professionals, business owners, and families who are all successful but uncertain about their financial future, often questioning whether they’re truly on the right track.
My approach is calm, practical, and reliable. I’m insightful in helping people see retirement possibilities they never considered, making complex pension rules actually make sense, and breaking down complicated inheritance tax rules. I explain financial jargon in plain English, spot tax-planning opportunities others might miss, and stay calm when markets are volatile.
Clients tell me they value the direct way I get to the heart of what they really want from their life. I keep the process approachable and clear, and I’m detailed and trustworthy in how I build a plan they feel confident following. I bring energy and support to every relationship – creating visual timelines that show when clients can afford to do what, sending updates focused on life goals rather than performance, and always explaining the why behind every recommendation.

My work is holistic, spanning every area of financial planning:
Core Financial Planning – Retirement planning, pension and drawdown advice, financial planning for high earners, and wealth preservation strategies.
Tax Planning – Inheritance tax planning, bonus tax strategies, tax-efficient investing (VCT/EIS), and annual allowance & carry-forward advice.
Family & Life Planning – School-fees planning, university funding, estate planning with trusts, and family wealth management.
Business Services – Business-exit planning, succession planning and family governance, financial planning for law-firm partners, and private-equity or carried-interest advice.
Investment Services – Bespoke investment management and portfolio strategy, alternative investments and private markets, RSU and stock-option planning.
Specialist Areas – Family-office services.
I studied at Oxford Brookes and outside work, I enjoy golf, fly-fishing, and spending time in the countryside walking the dog with my family.
