I’m a newly qualified financial adviser, joining Porta in April 2024. With my background in science, I’ve always enjoyed analytical thinking and problem-solving. I was drawn to financial planning to apply those strengths in a meaningful, client-focused environment - to help people make informed, confident financial decisions.
What drew me to Porta was the focus on life planning rather than just investments.
Right now, I’m supporting client reviews and learning how to spot planning opportunities while also starting to advise clients independently. Seeing the impact that small financial decisions like adjusting savings habits or making smarter investment choices can have over the long term is rewarding to see, especially in young professionals, and how taking control of their finances now can set them up for lasting stability and success.
I’m also learning how to communicate these ideas in a way that feels empowering and accessible. I want to focus more on helping young professionals -particularly women with their financial planning.
I want to become an adviser who clients genuinely trust and look forward to speaking with someone who listens carefully, understands their individual needs, and provides clear, honest guidance. I bring a calm presence and focused approach to everything I do, with a strong work ethic and a deep sense of dedication. Colleagues, friends, and family describe me as the voice of reason in emotional and high-pressure situations - clear-headed, reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious of others.
I studied Chemistry at Newcastle University before joining Porta. Outside of work, I like to keep active— with running and Pilates. I love making the most of life in London, whether that’s catching a show at the theatre or trying out new restaurants. When the time permits, I also enjoy travelling and heading back up north to spend time with family and friends.
