Having joined in January 2026, my role as Chief Operating Officer is to run and scale the business so that our advisors can deliver the best possible service for our clients.
There’s a plethora of things that attracted me to Porta Partners. Above all, it’s simply brilliant to be working in an organisation where there is such a direct, tangible impact on helping people. Our purpose is to provide individuals and families who work hard with strategies to manage their finances so they can achieve their life goals, it’s as simple as that. The feedback from clients is heartwarming to read through; the buzz doing this work creates for our teams is infectious.
My biggest focus is transformation; never sitting still in a fast paced and increasingly digital first world. Our business model is constantly evolving with our growth and with exciting changes to our business environment, it’s my job to ensure we do this with the right blend of people and skills, technology, process, compliance and controls to fulfil our client-first business strategy.
Instilling a ‘business case’ culture of continuous improvement, fast paced learning and creating opportunities for our employees, partnerships and clients is my passion, and I love it.
Before Porta I spent 15 years in the professional services industry in a global consulting firm, honing my skills and developing my own teams, frameworks and standards for operations and transformation. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMgr FCMI), a Member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM PMQ) and have professional accreditations with the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). I also have a Masters in Business, Strategic Management and Leadership Practice through Imperial College London and Corndel’s Executive Development Programme.

I enjoy sharing my experiences at both public events and in private forums. I enjoy close partnerships with the organisations and people I work with and welcome the opportunity to provide independent thinking, advisory and non-exec activities to the same.
Outside of work you’ll find me on countryside walks with my two children, boring my wife by trying to apply project management principles to her ideas and frustrated with the performances of the English Test cricket team. Unlike my peers, I am terrible at golf.
