Ollie Battle – Associate

I am an Associate at Porta Partners, having joined the firm in January 2026. I spent 4 years working in audit at Forvis Mazars, where I developed a strong technical grounding and a disciplined, analytical approach to financial decision-making. I am now on a fast-track programme studying towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

My current role includes supporting client meetings, preparing detailed cash-flow modelling and working closely with senior advisers to deliver clear, well-structured financial planning. My background in accounting and audit allows me to bring clarity, attention to detail and robust analysis to advice, helping clients feel confident that their bespoke plans are both practical and well thought through.

I am excited to continue developing as a financial adviser at Porta Partners, building on my technical background while gaining deeper exposure to long-term financial planning and client relationships. I am particularly keen to learn from experienced advisers, broaden my knowledge across pensions, investments and tax planning, and take on increasing responsibility in client meetings.

Being part of a firm that prioritises clarity, high-quality advice and long-term thinking motivates me, and I am enthusiastic about growing into a trusted adviser who adds real value to clients at every stage of their financial journey.

Outside of work, I am highly active and enjoy setting myself challenging goals. I enjoy running whether it be a 5k or a marathon, and I am often in training for my next race. I enjoy playing golf, tennis and padel, which provide a competitive outlet and a chance to switch off. I have also been a season ticket holder at Crystal Palace 20 years, which has been a turbulent ride to say the least!
