Tom Price – Operations Manager
I joined Porta in October 2023 as a Client Account Administrator and then worked my way up to Operations Manager.
I wanted to work in a profession that combines analytical thinking with human relationships and I’ve always been fascinated by how money decisions affect people’s life choices. Porta stood out to me because they think outside the box. We’re building something very special and different from the traditional financial advice firms.
In my role, I look after the systems and the way we do admin for the business. I’m helping to build processes that make the end-to-end journey for our clients as smooth and efficient as possible, while also developing my technical knowledge and supporting with research and analysis.
I’m known as someone who can make complex things simple for both clients and employees. I’m naturally curious and ask lots of questions – good at breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, and people often come to me when they need help organising or planning something.
I have a Business Management degree from Brunel University and outside of work, I love being at sports events and gigs.
